My name is Paul Edward Neufelder.
I love to paint,
sketch, draw, sculpt and teach. I was born at a very early age back in '63
in Evansville, Indiana. I grew up and now live in Columbus, Indiana. I
went to grade school at St. Bartholomews R C. I went to high school at
Columbus North. I've had a chance at the best available parochial and
public education.About a week before my 15th birthday I broke my neck in a
diving accident. After a lengthy recuperation and rehabilitation I
returned to school. I completed my junior and senior
high school and graduated with full accreditation.
After a try at various majors in college I
decided to become an artist. My formal training consists of courses at
Wright State, Dayton, Ohio, followed by years of individual study and
capped by a semester at California Institute of the Arts. I've continued
my education by extensive reading, studying, and teaching. I am currently
painting daily and managing a studio/gallery as well as preparing and
providing paintings for other galleries.
My volunteer work includes helping alternative school students and city planning. My work has appeared in many places including the Governor's Mansion (Indianapolis), Hoosier Histeria (Indianapolis), Enjoy the Arts (Cincinnati),
